Titans locked toe to toe

While the Grappa Cup has been rumbling on two giants of fantasy sports remain locked in combat at the top of the GKL. Martin Reilly and Rich Godden have traded blows for some time and who comes out on top remains anyone's guess.

The fight for the last Champions League spot also looks interesting with Brian Reilly chasing March's manager of the month Colin Moffat. It looks like Kenny Ross will have to settle for the UEFA Cup.

At the relegation positions (top 16 form the league next year), Willie Johnston will hope to be saved by the plunging Serafino Ingardia - September's manager of the month award seems ancient history. Also in the survival dogfight are Tommy Reilly, Kenny Eggo, Carlo Rinaldi, Clive Lindsay and maybe even Doug Archibald.

A word of praise for Jim Gordon, too. His nine point haul in week 32 must be the worst in league history. Surprising, with a great like Kim Do-Heon in his side.

No way Willie J. will have to settle for Serie B football next season!

It's always the same with this league. Just as I'm in with a shout along comes the fantasy baseball to distract my attention.

Can we run it to the last week in March next year?

Who said "getting his excuses in early"?

"While the Grappa Cup has been rumbling on"
I get the feeling this Cup isn't being afforded the respect or prestige it deserves.
What does the winner receive? 200 bonus points perhaps? Winners of the FA Cup, for example, would go into Europe so I think it's only fair that there be a decent reward. What do you say, Ginks?
Not that I'm panicking about relegation, of course.

Hehe, boys you all survived except for Davie Wynn and he lost the cup final!
